Morrocoy National Park

 

 

APPLICATION FORM FOR VISA

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE METHOD OF PAYMENT HAS BEEN CHANGED (see below for details)  

 

Tourist Card  DEX-2  (Tarjeta de Turismo DEX 2):

Allows to remain in Venezuela for up to 90 days. Valid for one (1) entry only

 

Transit Visa (Trįnsito):

Allows to remain in Venezuela for up to 72 hours. Valid for one (1) entry only

Cost of visa: AUS $ 45.00 (Bank & Administrative  fees included)

Requirements:

- Visa application form, dully filled in and signed by applicant.

- Two passport photographs, signed at the back.

- Passport valid for at least six months

- Photocopy of return or continuation ticket or letter from travel agency verifying booking made for the whole trip (mainly departure from Australia, arrival and departure from Venezuela)   within 72 hours.

- For Australian Residents: Australian Money Order or  Australian Bank Draft payable to: "Embassy of Venezuela" 

- For New Zealand/Fiji Residents: Bank Draft ONLY payable to: "Embassy of Venezuela"

- Self-stamped and self-addressed envelope to return the passport (certified, registered envelope or prepaid courier bag).

 

Tourist Visa (Turista)

Allows multiple entries for one year from the date of issue. The immigration Officials in Venezuela will set up the staying period. This visa does not allow the holder to engage in paid work.

Australian passport holders do not need visa, if they stay in the country for less than three (3) months and one (1) entry per year. In this case a Tourist Card will be given at airport.

Cost of Visa: AUS $ 45.00  (Bank  & Administrative fees included)

Requirements:

Same as for Transit visa plus:

- A copy of travel insurance certificate, or a letter from the bank where applicant has an account, giving reference of applicant's reliability or a letter from employer giving reference of applicant concerning length of employment, position held, length of proposed absence.

Note:
- In the case of children travelling without both parents, a letter of consent from both parents, and signed by a Justice of Peace, Solicitor, Public Notary or Commissioner of Declarations, must be presented with application.- If applicant is a dependent, the letters described in No. 7 above, must be regarding the person applicant depends on.

Ordinary Resident (Simple Transeśnte):

It is issued to the spouse and children less than 18 years old of Venezuelan citizens, as well as to one domestic employee of Venezuelan diplomatic or consular officials when they are returning definitively to Venezuela. Allows for multiple entries for one year from the date of issue. The holder is allowed to engage in paid work. Requires authorization from the Immigration Office of the Department of Internal Affairs. Can be renewed in Venezuela.

Cost of Visa: AUS $ 89.00 (Bank & Administrative fees included)

Requirements:

- Covering letter, requesting visa and explaining reasons.

- Visa Application form, duly filled and signed by applicant.

- Two passport photographs, signed at the back.

- Passport valid for at least six months.

- Certificate of Birth.

- Certificate of marriage (if applicable).

- Health Certificate: This is a letter written by a General Practitioner, and addressed to the Embassy of Venezuela, where the G. P. certifies the state of the applicant's health at the time of the examination, and after performing de following:

a) General, thorough medical examination.

b) Laboratory tests:

        i) Blood tests (aneamia, VD, etc)

        ii) Chest X-ray (TB) less than 6 months old

        iii) Urine test (glucose)

        iv) Any other tests that the G. P might consider appropriate to determine the health condition of the applicant.

- Police Clearance given by the local Police Department

- Proof of civil status of the applicant as well as his/her family relation as the case would be.

- For Australian Residents: Australian Money Order or  Australian Bank Draft payable to:  "Embassy of Venezuela" 

- For New Zealand/Fiji Residents: Bank Draft ONLY payable to: "Embassy of Venezuela" 

- Self-stamped and self addressed envelope to return the passport.

All documents must have attached translations into Spanish.

Business visa (Transeśnte de Negocios):

This visa is issued to people who will engage in commercial, trading, technical or scientific consulting activities in Venezuela. Allows for multiple entries for one year from the date of issue. The Immigration Officials in Venezuela will set up the staying period. At the port of entry, bearers are requested to pay a Landing tax.

Cost of visa: AUS $ 89.00 (Bank  & Administrative fees included)

Requirements:

Visa application form, duly filled and signed by the applicant.

- Two passport photographs, signed at the back.

- Passport valid for at least six months.

- Photocopy of return or continuation ticket or letter from travel agency specifying booking made for the whole trip (mainly departure from Australia, arrival and Departure from Venezuela).

- Letter from applicant's employer introducing the applicant and giving details of the propose of the trip, names and address of contacts in Venezuela as well as details of the person/firm that will be responsible for the applicant's expenses/salary. If the applicant is being invited by a Venezuelan firm, please send photocopy of the invitation and conditions of employment in Venezuela.

- For Australian Residents: Australian Money Order or  Australian Bank Draft payable to:  "Embassy of Venezuela" 

- For New Zealand/Fiji Residents: Bank Draft ONLY payable to: "Embassy of Venezuela"

- Self-stamped and self-addressed envelope to return the passport.

 

Student (Transeśnte Estudiante):

It is issued for one year with multiple entries to Venezuela to foreigners interested in following technical, university, postgraduate or any other studies in Venezuela. This visa does not entitle the bearer to perform remunerative work.

Cost of visa: AUS $ 89.00 (Bank  & Administrative fees included)

Requirements:

- Covering letter, requesting visa and explaining reasons.

- Visa application form, duly filled and signed by applicant.

- Two passport photographs, signed at the back

- Passport valid for at least six months.

- Letter of acceptance for enrolment from educational institution in Venezuela, giving details of courses to be taken, length of courses, fees to be paid, etc.

- Letter from the person/institution that will provide the financial support of the student while in Venezuela. When the letter is issued by a private person, it must produce proof of possessing enough financial resources.

- Health Certificate: This is a letter written by a General Practitioner, and addressed to the Embassy of Venezuela, where the G. P. certifies the state of the applicant's health at the time of the examination, and after performing de following:

a) General, thorough medical examination.

b) Laboratory tests:

        i) Blood tests (aneamia, VD, etc)

        ii) Chest X-ray (TB) less than 6 months old

        iii) Urine test (glucose)

        iv) Any other tests that the G. P might consider appropriate to determine the health condition of the applicant

- Police Clearance given by the local Police Department

- Qualifications and degrees obtained.

- Letter from the applicant compromising him/herself not to engage in remunerative or lucrative work in Venezuela.

- For Australian Residents: Australian Money Order or  Australian Bank Draft payable to:  "Embassy of Venezuela" 

- For New Zealand/Fiji Residents: Bank Draft ONLY payable to: "Embassy of Venezuela"

- Self-addressed and self-stamped envelope to return the passport.

All documents must have attached translations into Spanish.

Working Resident visa (Transeśnte Laboral) and
Accompanied Working (Acompańante Laboral):

It is issued for one year with multiple entries. It can be renewed in Venezuela. The person, firm or company interested in taking the services of the applicant must request his/her visa at the Immigration authorities in Venezuela, which will indicate the requirements to be fulfilled.

Once the visa is approved, the Venezuelan Immigration Office will notify in writing to the applicant and to the Embassy. The applicant will address him/herself to the Embassy and fulfil the requirements.
